This video is serving as my archaic torso of Apollo for the day —

Its creators call it a “fictional and artistic project.” Dean’s Blue Hole is 202 meters deep. A freediver has never reached the bottom without rope and fins — and likely never will; the current record in that discipline stands at 95 meters. But Guillaume Néry, the diver featured here, is a world-record freediver, as is his colleague, Julie Gautier — who shot the video while holding her breath.
