Approaching this toll booth near the Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport on Tuesday morning, most commuters dutifully slowed down and counted their change. Not 22 year-old Yasmine Aida Villasana — she’s fighting the system like a modern-day Robin Hood.

Ms. Villasana landed on the other side of the toll booths, breaking her wrist in the crash and earning arrest on suspicion of driving while intoxicated. She was driving a Chevy Impala. But you’re excused if another car came to mind — in particular, a certain 1969 Dodge Charger:

Keep between them ditches, Yasmine.

  1. Of course, one of the great things about the Dukes of Hazzard was its simulation of good ole boy life, which the good ole boys themselves learned to ape. Johnny Cash’s song “General Lee” comes from an compilation album that treats the show as a kind of mythos with its own old-as-the-hills folklore.
