This morning I went off to see
My mechanic, to pay his small fee.
Just as I feared,
The fix proved quite dear —
But the blarney was perfectly free!

***Happy name day to Patrick, proprietor of West Cork Auto and the finest mechanic/raconteur in Jamaica Plain. Patrick’s way with words is more therapy than blarney, but I succumbed to the limerick’s demands.
