AUTONOMOUS CITY EXPLORER, or “Ace,” is a robot built by researchers at the University of Munich that navigates city streets by asking passers-by for directions. New Scientist has the story.

What do you think?

  1. Now they need to rejigger the software to make the robot too proud to ask for directions. To model how most men get around.

  2. Would this work in Boston? Thanks for another great robot post, Matthew. I’m working on another vampire post, myself.
