Podcast 3, Part 1

By: HILOBROW
April 5, 2010

The 3rd episode of our Radium Age science fiction podcast, “Parallel Universe: Pazzo,” is dedicated to the theme of APOCALYPSE.

It features readings from Jack London’s The Scarlet Plague (1915), Philip Wylie and Edwin Balmer’s When Worlds Collide (1933), M.P. Shiel’s The Purple Cloud (1901), Karel Čapek’s The Absolute at Large (1922), Arthur Conan Doyle’s The Poison Belt (1913), William Hope Hodgson’s The Night Land (1912), Edgar Rice Burroughs’ The Moon Men (1926), and Olaf Stapledon’s Last and First Men (1930). We also recorded the winning entry, by Timothy Raymond, in our recent micro-fiction contest.

We recorded this episode on April 2. As always, we recorded at Pazzo Books, here in Boston.
