The first episode of “Parallel Universe: Pazzo,” HiLobrow.com’s Radium Age science fiction podcast, the live taping of which is hosted on the last Friday of every month (as of this month) by Pazzo Books, was posted on January 30. We hope you enjoyed it.

Boston-area readers, we invite you to the taping of the 2nd episode, this Friday the 26th. As announced via the podcast’s Facebook page, the taping begins at 6:45 pm and ends at 8:15 pm. Need directions? Visit the Pazzo Books website, linked to above.

The theme of our 2nd episode is “Scary Supermen.” Check out Rick Pinchera’s illustration for it…

Among the Radium Age classics from which we’re likely to read are: Philip Wylie’s Gladiator, Olaf Stapledon’s Odd John, John Taine’s Seeds of Life, Hugo Gernsback’s Ralph 124c41+, Edmond Hamilton’s “The Man Who Evolved,” and J.D. Beresford’s The Hampdenshire Wonder.

We’ll also record the winning story — by Charles Pappas — in our first micro-fiction contest.

Hope to see you there!
