ZENMAN is a character I created in 1989 or 1990 — near the end of my college career, as detailed in an earlier post. In 1991, when I was in graduate school, and still publishing my zine LUVBOAT EARTH (but not yet my zine HERMENAUT), I briefly toyed with the idea of doing a better job writing and drawing ZENMAN comics. Very briefly. I think is the only evidence of that impulse.
