My camera broke in July. Unless otherwise marked, all photos here by Susan Roe. Who rarely takes photographs of anything but wildflowers.
We saw a terrific dance performance by the dance collective MasterZ at Work, choreographed by Courtney “Balenciaga” Washington, at the Kaatsbaan “cultural park” in Tivoli. The final day of Kaatsbaan’s 2026 Annual Festival. Next summer, we need to attend the whole thing.

Susan and I, along with our fellow PROJECT:OBJECT KINGSTON collaborators (Bridget, Tommy, Karlie, Robyn), tabled at the 4th annual Heart of Midtown festival here in Kingston. An entirely free day dedicated to community, music, and mental health awareness — organized by Karlie’s family in memory of her sister Cassidy. A lovely time was had by all.
There was a button-making table at the fair, so I made a button for my friend and CoWork Kingston office neighbor Miller, who is one of the organizers of Hudson Valley Gay Soccer.
With our friends Kerry and Jonathan, we took a tour of the Spiral House in Saugerties. I am triggered by New Age stuff, so I was somewhat emotionally shut-down… but it really is an amazing construction.
