A bad video frame from a very fun evening downstairs at Tempo, a new “multipurpose Creative Space” in Kingston’s Rondout. This event marked the triumphant return of Hot Club, an open Django Jazz Manouche Jam to which Covid had put an end. I attended with HILOBROW friend Matt Sharpe, who has moved to the Rondout.

This month, in Kingston, Rhinecliff, and Flatbush (Brooklyn), I’ve continued to play-test the game that I’ve been developing (with my semio colleague and friend Ramona Lyons), for next month’s Semiofest conference in Warsaw. It’s a semiotics-inspired board game, currently known as FIELD OP: FRONTIER PLANET.
