SCREENSHOTS is a monthly series of posts via which HILOBROW’s Josh Glenn reviews his most recent screenshots — before deleting them from the over-full Dropbox folder to which they’d been uploaded. Also see the PHOTO DUMP series.

I continue to interview commercial/applied semioticians around the world for the MAKING SENSE Q&A series at SEMIOVOX…
Detail from an illustration by Nikhil Singh for an installment in HILOBROW’s upcoming CAHUN YOUR ENTHUSIASM series.
Images from October’s Semiofest Session on CASE FILES, hosted by yours truly.
Nice Instagram post on my birthday, from our new friend Karlie Flood — who was instrumental in making the GIVE IT UP PROJECT happen here in Kingston. Drawing is an idealized self-portrait by yours truly created during the annual Heart of Midtown Festival that Karlie organizes to raise awareness and funding around the mental health crisis in our community.

Detail from Benedetta Cappa’s 1924 painting Lights + Sounds of a Night Train. Which I used as an illustration for the c. 1929 poem “Night Train” by Zhimo Xu. For HILOBROW’s Radium Age Poetry series.

Detail from a page from Hermenaut issue #1. (Comic by Pagan Kennedy, originally from her zine Pagan’s Head.) From the HERMENAUTICA series here at HILOBROW.
My cousin John Harper sent me this photo of my mother, which has turned up among his mother’s papers. What a hipster!
A Midjourney-generated image from October:
Outtake illustration attempt for HILOBROW’s serialization of Leslie F. Stone’s “The Fall of Mercury.”
