Wendy Chin-Tanner is an author, poet, speaker, and publisher.
Her novel, King of the Armadillos, won the 2024 Louisiana Literary Award.
Her poetry collection TURN was a finalist for the Oregon Book Award. She is also the author of the critically acclaimed poetry collection Anyone Will Tell You.
Wendy is the co-founder of A Wave Blue World, an award-winning independent publishing company for socially conscious graphic novels. For AWBW, she co-wrote AMERICAN TERRORIST and edited EMBODIED: An Intersectional Feminist Comics Poetry Collection.
Her numerous publications include poems and essays in the Academy of American Poets, The Rumpus, Salon, The Kenyon Review, and Literary Hub. Her work has been covered in The New York Times, The Boston Globe, Ms. Magazine, and Good Housekeeping, among others, and she has been featured on ABC News Live Prime with Linsey Davis and NPR.
