Author: George Schuyler
George Schuyler (1895–1977), known at one point as "the Black Mencken," was a writer, journalist, and social commentator known for his political conservatism. (He opposed the Civil Rights Act of 1964, and supported Goldwater.) During the 1930s he wrote politicized pulp sf for the Pittsburgh Courier, a Black newspaper. Schuyler's 1931 novel "Black No More" is a near-future satire.
