Aleksei Kruchenykh (1886–1968) was a Russian poet, artist, and theorist. He was perhaps one of the most radical poets of Russian Futurism; with Velimir Khlebnikov, he is considered the inventor of zaum, a poetry style utilizing nonsense words.
